Frequently Asked Questions
Not when they are double poly-coated. The coating on both faces blocks moisture from the product and from condensation, which is exactly why uncoated kraft cups are a poor choice for direct ice cream contact.
We do not recommend it. Uncoated board absorbs moisture, softens and can leak or collapse, so a kraft-look cup with a proper food-safe interior coating is the right way to get that appearance safely.
Offset and flexographic printing are both standard, and we choose between them based on your run length and how much fine detail your artwork carries. Both use food-safe inks rated for frozen contact packaging.
